A pragmatic and dedicated group of individuals set up the Foundation in the 1960s to track the growth, intentions and activities of New Age cults and terrorist groups.

Osiris has no affiliations to any particular country. Its existence is an absolute secret. Operations are monitored by a select band of individuals in the United Nations. Recruits are briefed that in the unlikely case that they are captured; the Foundation will totally refute any knowledge of their existence.

Members keep a low profile and use code names. Instructions are handed out on a need-to-know basis only.

The headquarters of the Osiris Foundation is based underground, below an abandoned office block, in Reykjavik, Iceland. By the end of the twentieth century, the Foundation’s operations has expanded to several locations around the world and they regularly monitor hundreds of terror groups.
